Over-Population Effects on Education in Pakistan
Over-Population of Pakistan
Over-Population of Pakistan

v  Increasing Cost - The government and institutions have to invest more money by purchasing new lockers, furniture and textbooks due to increasing number of students every year. For instance, if the number of children in a region rises critically, then new schools as well as more educators are required.
v  Strategic Planning and Standards - Increased costs combined with high density can lead to solutions that compromise the provided standards. For example, when a private school has already planned about the capacity of students in a class for the next year but failed to achieve their goals for the next year.
v  Threat of Population Decline - The income of institutions comes either from direct payment of tuition fees or through taxation. This income is imperative for an institution to fund its research, maintain its facilities and pay its staff.
v  Changing Students Behavior - Due to overloaded classes, the student behavior is changing and not taking lectures seriously alternate teachers can’t deliver properly to each student.

Causes of Pakistan Over-Population

v  Lack of Education - The main reason of increasing population ratio is lack of education. There is a pattern of expansive number of families; this pattern needs to be changed if training will be given to all parts of the general public.
v  Polygamy - The existence of Polygamy means a common trend that a man has more than two wives resultant increasing birth rate. In Pakistan more than one marriage is acceptable and allowed in our religion as well.
v  Male Birth Desire - The desire of male birth child is also a main reason of overpopulation, we believe on advancing, receiving new values and patterns however parents always favor boys on girls.
v  Early Age Marriages - Early age marriages also resulting over population, we should strongly discourage this concept especially in our rural areas.
